In 2021 Camst group launched the first edition of its innovation call for startups active in the food, retail and facility management sectors with the aim of jointly developing innovative solutions in these areas. Among the entities selected to initiate co-innovation projects with Camst was Sfridoo, a startup that helps companies maximize the value of waste, by-products, secondary materials, and leftover inventory, following the principles of the circular economy. Sfridoo has developed for our reality an internal marketplace called Riusoo, which allows unused business assets to be given new life through a portal similar to those for online buying and selling between individuals.

Equipment or furnishings that no longer have a use in a kitchen or restaurant can be uploaded to the portal by Camst group employees and find a new life in other kitchens or restaurants in our company, thus avoiding being turned into surplus for disposal.

The goals of this co-innovation path, in addition to the reuse of business assets, are to save money, make resources more efficient, and directly involve employees in this good practice of reuse.
