He is loved by a whole city – Bologna, where he and his wife founded the Cucine Popolari movement – and everyone who has met him or has come across his projects. He is Roberto Morgantini, inventor of one of the most interesting community food organisations: a network of soup kitchens for people in difficulty which does not just prepare and offer meals but also tries to rebuild a human fabric around its guests.
